Obituary of Mary Jane Coleman

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Mary Jane Coleman – May 21, 1947-April 6, 2024

I am the oldest child of Jane (Crozier) and Peter Gabbianelli, born Wednesday, May 21, 1947 (Mary Jane Katherine Gabbianelli). Known as: Pete’s daughter, Greg’s wife, and Chris’s mom. To my nieces and nephews, I am Aunt Jane, Aunt MJ, Aunt Mary Jane, and Aunt Maimie. To my grandkids I am Nana, that is the best title.

What I want to leave with you are my beliefs in faith, family, friends, laughter, loving, and living. Think before you speak or act, listen to those around you before reacting, care for one another and yourself, and share yourself with others.

We are given choices in life. With choices there are consequences. Be mindful of this before you speak, react to what someone says, or offer your advice or opinions. Remember there is power in the truth. Please, always follow your heart and think “What would Jesus say” (WWJS) and “What would Jesus do” (WWJD).

                                         My love to you all,

                                                      MJ

The family sends their deepest respect to the numerous healthcare facilities and providers for their dedication and devotion to Mary Jane’s care, safety, and well-being.  Specifically, WCGH, St. Joe’s, Eastern Maine Medical Center (Northern Light), Gentiva Hospice Care, and Eastside Center for Rehabilitation.

Our greatest gratitude is sent to Mary Jane’s primary care physician, Dr. James Delehanty, a true medical expert who encompasses what it means when one practices the Hippocratic oath. Their rapport exceeded the typical doctor-patient relationship by creating a team-based approach to Mary Jane’s health and concerns related to it. You and your efforts are most appreciated.
