I remember meeting Laurel for the first time. This quiet sweet lady was sitting close to me at a family party. I smiled at her and she smiled back at me and I knew I needed to go sit with her. I didn’t know she was the mother of the person having the party till then, her loving daughter. We ended up talking about I don’t remember but we connected. I was glad each family party we went to that she was there. We always just smiled at each other and just felt we had known each other for ever. I was so blessed to have those moments with a very special person. I’ll always her. I am blessed to be a small part of her family as they bless me and my husband each day!
I am so sorry to hear of my dear friend and classmate Laurels passing, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you and will miss Laurel and her infectious smile.love you my friend of many years, till we meet again.
