In the short time I knew Gerry, I learned to love his humor, hospitality and his dogged determination. It was a privilege to be a part of your lives during the last several months. I so appreciated his interest in the life of my own son. Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of the life of such a special man. Tammy

You will always be remembered as one super guy. The first time I met you I thought you reminded me of my dad. He was also a hunter, a fisherman and what ever out door hobby that he could wrap himself around. You were a terrific husband and father. I can see that you will be missed terribly. I was so glad to be able to see you last year. I am blessed to have known you. Hugs and love to your family.

They say that you don’t remember what people say or do but you always remember how they make you feel. Gerry Atwell radiated warmth, kindness and a joy of life and his surroundings. In a world that has become so accelerated he took the time to notice the individual and make them feel special. I wish we would have known him better. He was a lovely man and I will always remember him fondly. All my love to the family he leaves behind. I am so sorry for your loss. Becky
