Dear Di, Merle, Mike, Peanut, David, Mark and Laurie and families So sorry to hear about Joanie. She was always so kind to Krisie and I when we were kids. She was one of the nicest people I'd ever met. She had good humor and we always enjoyed seeing her at our cookouts and all the holidays. She would tease me with a smile and a twinkle in her eye. She always made me smile. I used to enjoy it when she and Grammie would get together at the cookouts or the holidays, and grammie would say, "I like that woman." I would say, " I like her too. " She really was a kind, good person and I'm sure you all will miss and think of her often and I am sorry for your loss. Jr

To Diane and Merle: We greatly sympathize with your loss of Joanie. During our all-to-brief time with her at Brewer Center for Health and Rehabilitation, we all grew close to her and always enjoyed her company a great deal. She was a wonderful, kind lady, who leaves each of us with many fond thoughts and memories of our days and evening meals together in Brewer. Sincerely - Myrtle Butterfield, Cynthia Churchill, Dean Churchill

Joan was a kind and thoughtful roommate to our mother at the Brewer Nursing Home for the past several months. We are most grateful they were able to share a room even if only for a little while. She always greeted us with a smile and seemed to be the type of person that could find a silver lining in any situation. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Marguerite Peters and her daughters.

To "Peanut", Diane, Laurie, David, Mark, and all of Joan's family. I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful picture-this is how I remember Joan. I used to see her walking a lot downtown when she lived in Searsport. In many ways it seems like yesterday when we all grew up on Main Street. We are never ready to lose a parent even when they are sick or in pain. I am thinking of each of you. Always, Regina (Curtis) Seamans
