Frank was a good friend of my brother Bobby Whittier and Gail Whittier. We were all on the band bus and it was snowing hard when we were going home. Someone said do you think we will make the hill with the bus, Bobby said "Frank will take care of us" and as we started up the hill, in the early morning, there was Frank sitting there with his truck, waiting for the wandering troubadours to get home. I never forgot it. Such a good man.
