Obituary of Agnes M Pottle

CRABIEL-RIPOSTA FUNERAL HOME 338-9191 PROSPECT AGNES M. POTTLE, 89 of Prospect went to be with the Lord 4/5/2007 at a Belfast hospital. She as born November 15, 1917 in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, daughter of Leo T. and Frances (Greenlaw) Conley. Agnes loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always made sure that anyone who came to her house were right with God and knew Jesus as their Savior. She was a strong Christian who loved her daughter very much. She attended the Community Church of the Open Door where her grandson pastored. She loved to crochet and made sure everyone in the family had dishcloths. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lionel Pottle and son Raymond L. Pottle. Agnes is survived by her daughter, Winifred Fowler and her husband Carl of Prospect; sister, Rosena A. Shute of Calais; grandchildren Mark Fowler and wife Laurie, Cynthia Burbine and husband Jeffrey, Greg Fowler and wife Meredith, Jane Haskey, Jodi Morris and husband Paul; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nephew Louis Stone. Graveside services will be held May 7th at Maple Grove Cemetery in Prospect. Those who wish may make donations in Agnes' memory to Community Church of the Open Door, PO Box 177, Hampden, ME 04444. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
