Obituary of Faye M. Ward

Faye Ward, 79, of Belfast, Maine passed away on January 7,2025, in Camden Maine.

 

Faye was born March 31, 1945, in Belfast, Maine, the daughter of Claire & Gertrude (Lucas) Bagley.

She was employed at Waldo County General Hospital. Where she was a well-known phlebotomist for 45 years.

On November 25, 1978, Faye married Thurlow (Ted) Ward, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church. Faye and Ted went on to have two children, Jeramy, and Adam Ward. Sadly, Ted passed away on April 10, 2018, after 40 years of marriage.

Faye was a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the creation care committee and the altar guild, Daughter of the Nile, Ankl No. 160, Order of the Easter Star, Arbutus No. 19.

Remaining to cherish Faye’s memory are her children, Jeramy & Misty Ward, of Belfast, Adam Ward, of Swanville; grandchildren Raigen Ward, Jacob & Natalie Day; sister Judith Fenwick, of Searsport; sister in law Vannessa & John Moran of Searsport; sister in law Sue & Rich Fongeallaz of Orlando, Fl; sister in law Yvonne and Jeff Beals of Madison; Laverne Ward of Fl; Sister-in-law Belinda and Vince Greenleaf of South Carolina; brother in law George B Ward jr. and Lori of Thorndike; brother in law Terrence Ward, Swanville; mother in law Carolyn Ward of Belfast; several cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Faye in death is Thurlow Ward; parents Claire & Gertrude (Lucas) Bagley; brother Jeff Bagley, & father in law George B Ward.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 95 Court St, Belfast, ME 04915
