Obituary of Lois Marie Noyes-Rideout

Lois M. Rideout, 72 of Searsport, ME died December 29, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Bangor ME on March 10, 1952 to Harry and Hazel H. Matthews. She was the fourth child of six brothers and sisters. Surviving, are her husband True Rideout of Old Town, her sister Geraldine and husband Vernard Coffin of Searsport, ME, her brother Daniel and wife Michele Matthews of Frankfort, ME, and grandsons Cody Noyes of Swanville, ME and Tyler Cornelio of Farmington, ME.

She is also survived by her son’s life partner Danielle York and her brother Randy’s life partner Tammy Merrifield and many nieces,nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Hazel Matthews, her son, Scott Noyes, her brothers, Larry and Randy Matthews and sister Evelyn Roman.

There will be a memorial service held on January 11 at 11:00 a.m. located at the Crossroads to Calvary Church in Morrill, Maine directed by Pastor Warren Heath and Pastor Thomas Channell. Directly after please join us for a time of fellowship and refreshments with the family.
