JR loved swimming, reading, the next adventure, and his family. He simply loved life, more than anyone I have ever met. Wonderful memories of crazy laughing over next to nothing, holidays, trips, bear hugs, his favorite cologne (always mixed with a tinge of pool chlorine), the every-day routine of life, and the safety all of that delivered. He was dependable, stable, protective, and so very affectionate. Pretty sure he believed in me more than I ever believed in myself, and he encouraged me to strive, work and expect more. He will be missed more than words can express.
