Obituary of Taylor Patterson

Taylor Patterson, 34, passed away unexpectedly on April 12th, 2024. Born on September 02, 1989, to Robert and Rebecca Patterson, Robert Taylor Patterson was a momma's boy with a heart of gold. He had an infectious smile that could light up any room and a mischievous spirit that kept everyone on their toes.

From a young age, Taylor, affectionately known as "T" or "T-Man," showed remarkable intelligence and ingenuity. He could fix anything that was broken and had a knack for finding creative solutions to problems. His adventurous spirit often led him into mischief as a child, giving his parents a run for their money, but it was all part of his charm.

Taylor worked alongside his father, Robert, in their family business, where they specialized in concrete work, plowing, and sanding. He learned the value of hard work and dedication, traits that would stay with him throughout his life. Additionally, Taylor ventured out west where he joined as a Millwright, traveling and working in various locations.

Taylor had a passion for trucks and motorcycles, spending hours tinkering with engines and taking long rides to clear his mind. He was always well-dressed, his impeccable style reflecting his vibrant personality and love for life. But perhaps what truly spoke to his soul was music. Taylor found solace and joy in listening to music, seeing it not just as a form of entertainment but as a means of communication and feeling.

Despite his adventurous side, Taylor was incredibly sentimental and cherished his family and friends above all else. He had a deep bond with his family. In addition to his love for trucks and motorcycles, Taylor adored his faithful companion, Marlon, his loyal dog who was always by his side through thick and thin over the past two years.

He graduated from Belfast Area High School in 2007. Taylor will be remembered for his dedication, intelligence, lack of judgment, kindness towards others, and his ability to find beauty and meaning in the melodies and lyrics of his favorite songs.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Rebecca Patterson, Sisters Jessica Dusoe and her husband Andrew Dusoe, Hannah Baca and her husband Michael Baca, his daughter Elena Nealley, his Nephews Cole Dusoe, Ezra and Carter Baca, His nieces Adaline Kaci and Kori Dusoe. His Grandparents Bub and Barbara Morse and Kathy Patterson, His childhood cousin/partner in crime Jeffrey Fries, along with several Aunts, Uncles, Great Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, family and endless amounts of friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life to honor Taylor will be held on Saturday 4/27/24 at The Belmont Town Hall at 2pm. 613 Back Belmont Rd, Belmont, ME 04952.  Memories and condolences may be shared on his tribute wall.

Though he's gone, his spirit lives on in the melodies that once filled his soul. As we remember Taylor Patterson, let us take solace in these words from the song 'I Can See Clearly Now' by Johnny Nash: 'I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day.' Let us carry Taylor's zest for life and his love for music in our hearts as we navigate through life's journey."
