Dear Chris, dear Andy,
Uschi has been like a mother to me since my first visit in New Jersey with the Machaceks and she later also embraced Ute and Tim as if part of the Koelbl family, always ready to help.
For instance, she let us stay at her house although she was not even there. Or as another example I will never forget when she was letting me drive her car when I was just around twenty and her sitting next to me saying: “Hit that pedal!” while I just wanted to be cautious…
Many memories like these come to my mind. I will treasure those and together with Ute and Tim always think of her with great thankfulness.
Liebe Uschi, ruhe in Frieden.
All the best to both of you and your loved ones in this difficult time.
Peter

Dear Chris and Andy,
Ursula and I met at Epsteins. We were coworkers who quickly became friends. She was always so reliable, enthusiastic and so much fun. We always got the job done and done well. Even finding time to share our personal lives and stories.
When it was time to set up the Christmas shop it became a labor of love. One evening she was working on the set up. I stopped in on my way home to she if she had any issues. She asked if I could just stay a bit longer to help with one small display. A bit longer turned into several hours. Security came by to tell us we needed to leave now or be locked in for the night. There were boxes everywhere that we had unpacked. They needed to be cleaned up before we could leave. So in true Ursula fashion she got security to help take out the trash!
Ursula was a beautiful woman inside and out. I feel very lucky to have known her and it was my privilege to call her my friend.
Thank you Chris for letting me know that she passed. Thank you for taking such good care of her especially in the past few years.
My sincere sympathies to you, Andreas and your families.

My greatest memories of Omi was her game playing. After dinner, we would clear the table and play "Mexican Train". She was so much fun. She would always count our points in German! We would laugh, and talk, tell stories and snack on dessert. She was always a pleasure, to be around, I loved listening to her tell us stories of she when was a child growing up in Germany, all of her memories. And then when she would return from Germany, she would tell us about all the fun that she had while she was there with her family. She was always a pleasure to be around. she was always dressed so pretty, her hair done, nails beautiful, and her jewelry, always looking beautiful! Y you are passing into your next life with some amazing memories to take with you and leave behind for us all. ❤️
