Obituary of Norma M. Sheldon

Norma Sheldon(Cookson) passed away Sunday, December 17th, 2023. She was born on January 17th,1949 to Norman and Virginia Cookson.

She was predeceased by: her husband of 53 years Chester Sheldon, her parents, Norman Cookson and Virginia Cookson (Simpson); and her siblings, Jerry, Wayne, Bruce, Brent Cookson, Phyliss Bennett, and Sandy Moulton.

She is survived by her son, Chester (Skip) Sheldon, his wife Audree, children Abby and Andy Roy, her daughter Traci Sheldon, her grandson AJ Chasse and his wife Natalie Chasse, great-granddaughters Addison and Alaina Chasse, and her siblings, Nora and her husband Dennis James, Gayle Landis, Paulette Robinson, Ara Cookson, and Linda and Earl Schultz. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Her love of the outdoors was never-ending. Her ideal day was working in her gardens and creating more lawns that would need to be mowed. They say the garden is a mirror of the heart. Which holds true, as hers was kind and generous.

She cared so deeply for the people around her. We are grateful for the memories we have as a family. She will be forever missed.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
