Obituary of Leslie Eugene Stover

Leslie Stover 73 of Thorndike passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2023. Les was born in Belfast, Maine on March 18, 1950, to Winfred and Zelda Stover. Les is survived by his wife Gwen who he married on October 4, 1969, and built a beautiful life together for the last 54 years.

He is also survived by his daughter Tonya Reynolds and husband Dean. Grandsons Dustin Reynolds and wife Cheyanne and Brandon Reynolds. Great Grandson Isaac Reynolds. Sisters Lucille and Levina and brother Lorimer. Brother-in-law Larry Hustus and wife Linda, and sister-in-law Juanita Sargent. Two very special nephews Lewis Sargent Jr and Anthony Sargent.

He was predeceased by his parents Winfred and Zelda, brothers Linwood, Lawrence, Luther, and Lloyd, and sisters Lillian and Latina. His father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Beatrice Hustus, brother-in-law Lewis Sargent Sr, and grandson Steven Reynolds.

Les will fondly be remembered for his never-ending flower gardens, his black VW Bug who no one was allowed to drive except for his grandsons to get their driver's license. His love for spending time with his family and dog Ben. The pride that he had for his job on the Railroad, but his most important job gave him the title of Bamp. His grandkids were the light of his life, and he was beyond happy and couldn’t wait for October when his first great-grandson was born.

At his request, there will be no services.
