I write this as a person who met Amy’s father Buddy Hall several summers ago at his Angler’s restaurant in searsport… and felt his warmth and kindness at that time. When I heard what happened, I was deeply hurt and sympathetic and felt the need to leave a message for him and his family here… as tears came to my eyes and are there now. I go to bed tonight with prayers for him and Amy’s mom and family, that they carry on in peace and joy that she is now at the right hand of god. Please forgive me as I can’t bear the thought that I bring more sadness… but the sharing is most important of all to the healing. My sincere respect and honor to strengthen them in this time of need….

I will always remember the stories of you and your dad's secret roadside asparagus spots, you and Shelia giving me a hard time for mispronouncing lemonade and the "magic" refrigerator at rainbow lake. Rest easy my friend!

I have a hard time coming up with words. My heart hurts deeply for you all. Amy and I would always sit together at our boys games and when she couldn't make it I would always make sure she got the pictures or videos of Cade. I will greatly miss her sitting with us at Anglers in the summer to catch up on everything. Amy always made Ethan feel so comfortable and welcome when he would have sleepovers with Caden. She will be missed by all who knew her. Our family is so very sorry for this tremendous loss. I am positive she was greeted in Heaven by a HUGE Gram Sue hug. xox

Dear Barb and Bud,
Our memories of Amy was as a young, sweet girl who was beautiful and always smiling. Living on the same street, the children were always back and forth on bikes or on foot being just happy children growing up in a small town.
When your family moved north, the bond between your children and ours faded but we were always thrilled to hear how well Amy was doing and where life was taking her.
As parents who have also lost a daughter, we would only suggest that you say her name often, hold the happy memories close and find the joy that lives on in her children.
While we are no longer “Mr and Mrs Calvo”, we will always be there if you need us.

Dear family of Amy,
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your very special one. Amy was one of my students and one of my cheerleaders. We all had so much fun and she was the life of the party. Always smiling and laughing. I was so happy to have Reilly in my class a few years ago. Amy and I were able to reconnect and I have a message from her on FB that I will always cherish. My heart breaks for all of you. Please know that you are in my prayers. I pray that God will bring you peace.
With love,

I have so many memories of Amy I will cherish always. But I will always remember most her infectious laugh, her beautiful smile that lit up every room she entered, her adventurous spirit, her huge heart and her beautiful soul. She truly was an amazing woman she was loved so much and will be missed and remembered always.

My heart goes out to Amy's family and friends in this difficult time. I wanted to share my experience with Amy during high school, to add to the stories of what a kind soul she truly is. Amy and I attended cheerleading camp together the summer before my junior year, and I was just the dorky girl they let tag along for the ride. They were all so kind to me though and I never felt like an outcast. Amy and I were paired up to share a dorm together and she was so considerate to always include me as part of the crew. We practiced stunts and cheers together at camp that summer, and we went on to the school year with our team. I'll never forget how kind she was to me and how much fun we had during those years. Years later we reconnected on Facebook and the thing I noticed most was how much she loved her children. I know her spirit will always be watching over you all.

I have so many amazing memories with Amy that I’m going to cherish for a lifetime. From sharing dinners with our kiddos, attending concerts, motorcycle rides, impromptu dinner/drinks or a quick call to catch up and check in on each other, calls I’m grateful for and will miss so much. A few years back, she called me and last minute we got tickets to Cellardoor for an event that showcased Chaka Khan and Salt n Pepa. We had the most amazing time, smiles for days! My family and I will miss her so much and she’ll be in our hearts forever ❤️

Amy, was, and will always be remembered as the smile that could light up any room, and that couldn't be any more true. I will miss dancing in the parking lot after a busy summer night at work, or her calling to tell me she will be 10-15 minutes late for work, and to hold down the fort, only to come in the door asking how her hair and makeup looked. Her laugh was booming! You could hear it throughout the restaurant. I will miss her and I sharing recipes with one another. She was an amazing cook and anytime I cook Pomodoro, I will think of her. In her passing I have learned a true lesson in telling my loved ones how much I adore them, and love them. I will forever miss you Amy, and you leaving this earth too soon will never sit right with me. I will never forget you, and I will never forget the impact you have had on my life. I'll see you on the other side when it's my time to come home, my friend. May you be resting in the sweetest peace.

I had to say my goodbyes to you Thursday night, and I wish I could’ve been there to celebrate your life yesterday.
My favorite memory of Amy was when she made me take photos with her and Ashley for a “small pamphlet” that ended up being a cover for a GD magazine… lol. I was soooo mad at her! The amount of people I had emailing, texting and calling me about that cover page was insane. Now I cherish that memory, and laugh about it!
Amy, I’m so sorry we fell out of touch. I’m so sorry I never got to tell you how much I loved working with you and your family. I’m so sorry that I didn’t know what was going on. I’m so sorry you didn’t know how much you meant to all of us who knew you. I’m so sorry you didn’t know how much you meant to me. But most of all, I’m sorry you were taken from all us far too soon.
You will be truly missed my friend.

As Jon’s childhood friend and classmate my first memories of Amy were as one of the older cool girls. I vividly remember being so enamored that she wore “Beautiful” perfume. As adults I would see her from time to time at Anglers and she always made me feel so welcome and taken care of. Rest in peace Amy.

I met Amy our junior year in high school when I transferred to Belfast. We had a few classes together but the one I remember most was art. We had a group that always sat together and riled each other. I was the outcast rocker and she was the pretty cheerleader. I was pretty socially unacceptable most of the time and could be pretty offensive too. Yet Amy was always nice to me. Sometimes she invited me to do things after school when I was at a loss for a lot of real friends. She treated me like we had known each other for years and tolerated me at my worse and supported me through the good times.
I moved away right after high school and lost track of a lot of people. Then I ran into Amy on Facebook some years ago. We chatted online and talked about life a little bit. She always struck me as a very happy, positive person. We chatted a lot over the last few years. Her kindness helped me through some pretty tough times. The last time we talked at all was a couple of months ago and we tried to get together fir lunch and she said she couldn't that weekend because of family stuff. She was the most responsible person I know, especially when it came to her kids and family. It breaks my heart that now we will never get together and for her to meet my son and him get to see her beautiful smile. My heart goes out to her family and friends that were close to her. Reilly and Caden, I want you to know what an absolutely wonderful person your mom is and will always be remembered as. She was a special kind of beautiful in ways this world needs more of, kindness, compassion and that one in a million smile. Luckily she managed to pass her smile on to Reilly and hopefully you can find it again and carry on your mom's legacy of just being nice to people in this world now that it's darker without her. Caden, I'm sure you are going to grow into a great, strong compassionate, hard working man that parents will be proud for you to date their daughters because you make this world a better place for being in it.
Rest in peace Amy. You are terribly missed.

We are so sad and wish the family condolences and support in this unbearable time. We remember fondly meeting Amy over 15 years ago at our home for dinner and becoming friends quickly and seamlessly. She graced us at our wedding and was always a face we loved to see whenever the occasion made that happen. May her memory always live in the hearts who ever have meet her. Love Linda & Myron

Amy was one of my first bosses. I started working at Newport Anglers in high school, and stayed through a good portion of my college career. Amy taught me so much - many things I still apply and use today. She had a phenomenal work ethic and a magnetic personality. She was always well put together, and I aspired to be like her one day. She was strong and firm but kind and gentle at the same time. She was always willing to help with ANYTHING we needed, no job was “too small”. She helped shape me and provided me with valuable lessons for work life and beyond. I send my deepest condolences and I am praying for her entire family, especially her nuclear family & specifically her two children. Praying for comfort and for God to hold them in His hands during this unimaginable time. Amy was a bright light in the lives of all who had the privilege to meet or know her. May her memory be a blessing.

My heart breaks for Amy’s children, parents, and all the lives she touched. She was so full of life, a talented artist, and a wonderful friend. She always had a smile on her face.
It always brings joy to my heart -- when I think about when she and I went to Quebec, the directions flew out the window, and she just rolled with it and laughed at the situation!
Rest in peace beautiful, beautiful Amy.
