Obituary of Kenneth Darrell Brassbridge

We are sad to announce the passing of Kenneth Brassbridge,70, of Frankfort, ME. Born and raised in Frankfort, Kenneth was the son of Myra and Denny Brassbridge.

Kenneth was an original member of the Wellman paving crew before spending 20+ years working for the state of Maine DOT. After retirement, Kenneth enjoyed plowing and riding around visiting friends and family. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and dog lover, with a passion for mowing lawns.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gayle. His children, Stacey Kane and husband Travis of Greene and Dustin Brassbridge and wife Liberty of Bucksport. Brothers Lawerence and wife Charlene, Wayne and wife Pam, Roger, Carlton, and Stephen and wife Dianna. Sister June and husband Ken. Kenneth was a proud grandfather to Caleb, Austin, Libby, Colby, Berkley, and Charlotte. Lots of friends and extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents, son Eric Nute, and brothers John, Bob, and David.

There will be a service at the Frankfort Congregational Church on November 26, 2023, at 1 pm, followed by a gathering at the Frankfort Church Vestry. There will be a graveside memorial in the spring.
