Loretta will be dearly missed by her friends at Hampden Senior Citizens Club. It was a pleasure to have called her "Friend".

There is a really funny story when this photo was shot. In 2015 Mom and Dad were visiting here in Illinois and we drove up to Chicago. My son Samuel was in school there. We did a lot of walking and mom kept asking Sam if almost to our destination. She was getting tired. Sam's response was "Yes, Nana - we are almost there." After several more city blocks, and Sam responding "Yes, Nana - we're almost there" we finally reached our destination (wherever that was). What I will always remember is each time Sam said "Yes, Nana - we're almost there" mom's facial and verbal expressions back to him were priceless!

Summer in Maine (flowers & lobster) were two things she enjoyed after her move north.

Loretta and I kept in contact via the internet and once she and Louis visited us when I was still stationed at Randolph AFB in Texas. But my memory goes way back to visiting her as a little girl and her father Bill and mother Mary. May the hand of the Lord bring her His promised peace!

We send our deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother.
As cousins, we spent many happy times together, all the fun at Christmas as Grandma's house when Santa visited with all the gifts, the great Italian food and of course, grandma's cookies. I remember Loretta's favorite, the twirled cookie with the colored candies on top. Then the visits in the summer to all our house to visit the relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins. She showed me a great time in New York when I visited over a weekend in my Senior year of high school, taking me to shows, restaurants and the NY sights. Of course while you all lived in Connecticut, we saw alot of each other and shared many a fun Pinochle game. Over the years, never a birthday or anniversary went by that cards weren't sent to each other. We were kindred spirits, both with a love of doing crossword puzzles ( I do it every day) and reading especially mysteries. We got that from Tanta. I'm so glad I got to see your Mom and Dad in Florida when we were staying at Hank's sister's home in Longwood. Although the miles kept us apart, we were always close in heart. May you rest in Peace, Loretta and reunite with Louis and all our dear relatives.
Love,
Kathy and Hank

Our deepest condolences to Teri, Cyndi and Marie & all of you children. Your mom was a wonderful lady and it was so much fun getting to know her during her time she lived in Arizona. It was a pleasure seeing her again in Maine in the summer of 2021. We send love and prayers to all of her family.
