Obituary of Heather E. Clark
HEATHER E. CLARK
Oct 15, 1966 – April 11, 2023
With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Heather “Heidi” Clark who finally succumbed to cancer. She was diagnosed in 2019 and waged a very brave, strong war against it. With the cards stacked against her in life and time running out, she chose faith over despair and searched only for the positive in everything. She was quirky, stubborn, eccentric, loving, compassionate, protective and patient to the end. There was nothing she wouldn’t do or wouldn’t give for those she loved. She will be missed greatly by those who loved her.
Heidi worked mostly in factories like Stinson Canning and Crowe Rope and was proud when she received her certified nursing assistant certificate. She worked in healthcare only for a brief time before illness cut her career short.
She is predeceased by maternal grandparents Luther Clark and Donald and Annie Lyons, paternal grandparents Manser “Mac” and Estella “Checker” Greenlaw, and her father Reginald Clark.
She is survived by her son Cory Stevens and granddaughter Faith and her son Phyllip Stevens. She is also survived by her mother Rowena Robinson, her husband David Robinson and three brothers; James Clark, his wife Keri and his children Scott Clark, Samantha Perry, Alanna Clark and Aydyn Clark. Brother Donald “Doni” Clark and brother David Allen-Clark, his husband Joshua Allen-Clark and David’s Children Mikayla Clark, Mariah Packard and Katlyn Grubbs and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, especially her team Melissa, Vanessa, Allison, Eric and Barbara who made her smile and provided physical, mental, emotional and spiritual comfort to the end. And special thanks to Edward and to her PSS Katie who both provided great companionship, care and support during her final months.
A celebration of Heidi’s life will occur at a later date and friends and family will be informed.
