I had the pleasure of meeting Bert back in the late 70's or early 80's when we both worked at Journal Press in Belfast. She would come help us in the photomechanical department when we were swamped with work and needed an extra hand.
She was quick to learn, cheerful, friendly, pleasant, and had a good sense of humor. She was a great worker!
If I saw her in town she always remembered me with a smile and hello.
It's a shame she departed so soon.
My thoughts are with you.
