Obituary of Ernest H. Wing

SEARSMONT

Ernest H. Wing Sr. 81 of Searsmont passed away Oct. 27 at home with his wife by his side.                                

He was born in Searsmont to Harold & Burdena (Pease) Wing on July 7, 1941.

He graduated from Appleton High School in 1959 where he played baseball & basketball.

Ernie was a hard worker, working with his father in  the woods when he was 10. He drove truck for many years. In 1993, he bought a skidder and spent his last working years doing what he loved.

Survivors are his wife Marilyn of 58 years; son Ernie Jr.; daughter Michelle and daughter-in- law Dianna; his brothers, Maurice & Arnold; sisters, Muriel, Barbara, Virginia, Linda, Harriett, & Regina; brothers in-law Glenn & Milon; many nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister Carlene & brother Reggie as well as special people in his life, Jason, Loren & Larry.  He will be greatly missed.

There will be a gathering to celebrate his life on July 8, 2023 at the family's home from 12 noon - 4pm with refreshments and fond memories being shared.
