Obituary of William Walton Burrows Jr.

William W. (Bill) Burrows died at his home on Monday, July 11, 2022, with his wife of nearly 39 years and children at his side. It was just 25 days after learning he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  Bill was born in Holden,  MA, March 5, 1940 to William and June (Stuart) Burrows.

He was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School ‘58, Holden MA. followed by a brief tour in the US Army then by a 23 year career in the US Air Force. Following his retirement, Bill was a groundskeeper at various condos in the Fort Walton Beach/ Destin FL. area. He returned to his New England roots in June of 2000.

Bill leaves behind his beloved wife Pamela (Hill) of Belfast and son Gary and wife Lisa, daughters Penny and Cindy and their families; granddaughter Heather and her husband John, Tony Jr.; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Garrett all in North Carolina. Bill also leaves his sister Robin Tibbetts and family of PA, brothers Stuart Greenlaw and James Burrows and their families of MA. Also his stepchildren Deborah McMahon and family of MO., Paul Huntley, of MA., Matthew, Jennifer, and Katie Swanson, all of FL., who he essentially raised.
