Obituary of Linda Gwen Maxwell

WALDO — Linda G. (Sinclair) Maxwell, 79, the kindest and most loving wife, mother and friend you could know went to be with the Lord on 5 May 2022 with her family by her side. Linda spent most of her life, as a nurse taking care of others as she always did finally retiring from Merry Gardens in Camden, Maine. To know her was to love her and if you had that pleasure, you know that grass did not grow under her feet, she committed 100 percent to her hobbies and family from gardening to scrap booking to her birds she did it all lovingly and without reward. Linda loved her family always looking forward to gathering at Thanksgiving and Christmas to see everyone. One of her greatest joys was to see the birth of her great grandchildren Gabriel M and Aurora D. Linda’s compassion, generosity, smile, and laugh were contagious always drawing people to her making them feel warm welcome and loved. Linda was predeceased by her parents Rodley and Corine (Crosby) Sinclair as well as her Step-Father Burliegh Crockett. She is survived by her loving husband Donald B.; daughter Mishelle D. Lawrence (Paul M.) of Swanville; son Michael D. Rioux of Portland; grandsons Theodore M. Lawrence of Augusta and Jonathan B. Lawrence of Belfast; great grandchildren Gabriel M. Lawrence and Aurora D. Lawrence; her sister Enola Couture (James) of Waterville; and brothers Milton Sinclair (Charlotte) of New Sharon and Rodley Sinclair (Paula) of York along with beloved nieces, nephews, dear friends and her church family. Friends are invited to gather for her service on 14 May 2022, 1pm at the Swanville Community Church with a gathering to remember and share stories to follow in the fellowship hall.
