Growing up our families were very close. I remember many Christmas afternoons driving from Rockland to visit the Merry family in Belfast. Our parents were dear friends and that friendship lasted their entire lives. I remember Leslie so well as a child and young man. He was a great man. His love for his family and Jesus was very evident. I am so honored to know the Merry family and to call them dear friends. May God richly bless you all during this time of great bereavement. He is safe forever in the arms of our wonderful Savior, our precious Jesus. How comforting to know beyond a shadow of a doubt you will see him again, all because of Jesus’ finished work on Calvary.
