Obituary of Phyllis H. Talgo

Searsport – Phyllis H. Talgo, 70, of Searsport, ME, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born February 2, 1952, in Stockton Springs, Maine, the daughter of the late Hugh and the late Virginia (Robbins) Pomeroy. Phyllis was known as “Ma” by everybody. If Ma wasn’t digging clams with her boys, she was shucking them. In her spare time, she loved tending her gardens. Ma was a woman of faith who had a huge heart. Her family remembers Ma always being there with guidance for them when they needed her. She had many grandbabies whom she found great joy in and loved to spoil them. Ma enjoyed her time on road trips with her partner Don and all their time spent together. She is predeceased by her parents, son Vaughn Talgo, siblings Ralph and Herbert Robbins, Shirley Grant, Hugh Pomeroy Jr. Ma leaves behind her lifelong partner Donald Chamberlain who was a loving father to her children and caring spouse; her children Greg Talgo and partner Jessica Kahriman, Aaron Talgo and wife Jessica Hall, Alan Leif Talgo and partner Raven Sinclair, Craig Talgo and partner Jaymie York, and Jason Littlefield; several grandchildren; siblings Steve Pomeroy and wife Sharon, Dennis Pomeroy and wife Sheryl; and two special friends Linda Seelye and Phil Burgin. The family would like to thank Jessica Hall who she considered the daughter she never had. The Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2022.
