I have so many memories of art trips with Vertene and her wonderful art classes. She was a huge mentor for me. She painted a watercolor for my husband, Dan -a still life with his childhood teddybear! She helped my son Rob with his art portfolio for admission into MASS ART in Boston. Classy. Creative. Attractive. Focused. Determined. Adventurous. Social. I will miss all the adventures and especially watching her paint. Below I added a photo of an oil she painted of me painting under a tree in Whiting, Maine.
