Obituary of Berta Welch

Berta Welch, of Jackson, left this world to join her beloved husband, Carl, in heaven on January 7, 2022. Berta was born in Salach, Germany on October 9, 1932, to Berta and Alois Bulling. In 1954 she met the love of her life, Carl Thomas Welch while he was serving in the US Army in Germany. They married and together they raised four wonderful children and shared 52 years of love and cherished memories. Berta was predeceased by her husband Carl, and is survived by her children Evelyn Carleton (Ron), Michael Welch (Candace), Patricia Kingsbury (Doug), and Barbara Fox (David). In addition to her children, Berta is survived by six grandchildren, Chris Burguess and Carly Fletcher, Adam and Evan Welch and Zachary and Elizabeth Booker. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, Sydney, Carleton, Weston, and Helena. Berta will be greatly missed by her loving family. Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh. At Berta’s request there will be no services.
