Life will never be the same without Aunt Wanda! I remember from the time I was a young child, her doing fun things with us kids (all her nieces and nephews) when we were together in the Summer. She’d load up the back of the truck with a bunch of us and take us on an outing. She was so much fun to be around! I can hear her singing “By the Light of the Silvery Moon” while acting silly! She always had the best things planned or sometimes they were just spur of the moment…Aunt Wanda’s home was THE HUB for the family. That’s where Grammie was and all the family gathered there. After Grammie went to Heaven, her home was still the GO TO Spot. Aunt Wanda was the “go to person “ for anything you wanted or needed. Her infectious smile and laughter, her joy and kindness, as well as her singing, was loved by all❤️ How we will miss her, but we know we will meet again on the other Side. What a day that will be! As she and her sisters sang at reunions, “Oh what singing, oh what shouting, on that happy morning when we all shall rise…oh what glory, Hallelujah, when we meet our blessed Saviour in the skies.” Dearly loved and sadly missed. I will never forget the 2010 family reunion when aunt Wanda brought her Oreo balls she cooked. They tasted so good, and she was so kind to give me the recipe. I made them for my church all the time after that and they all loved them too. It was so nice of aunt Wanda to give me the recipe.
She was so nice to me. Whenever I would go visit meemaw “Elzadia” in the Belfast area, it was so nice to be able to stop in and see aunt Wanda who lived near by. She was always so nice to me! What a sweet heart!
I will miss her. But I know she’s in a better place.

Wanda loved her family and friends and will be missed by all for her generosity, love and smiles. She lived life intentionally; serving her Lord through the church and investing herself in the lives of others so they would share in the faith of her Saviour. She has been a hard worker all her life, a caretaker for others, a friend, and through her voice at church a blessing and encourager. Will always miss her. Brother Sterling & Carol Hustus
