Obituary of Jo A. Colson

Jo Annette Colson, 66 of Prospect, Me. Passed away October 29, 2021 following a long period of illness. She was born in Bangor, Me. on June 6, 1955 to William and Madeline (Hall) Swift Sr. She was predeceased by her parents and a nephew Ronnie Mitchell. Jo is survived by her two sons, Chris Chamberlain, his partner Brandie Hansen, two granddaughters Erika and Emily, all from Arizona. Joshua Chamberlain, his wife Cindy, of Newburgh, Me. Two grandchildren Tristan and Gracelan. Three Sisters, Linda Mitchell of Hampden, Althea and husband Tom Grover of Winterport , Donna and her husband Glen Bennett of Orland. Two brothers, Fred Swift and his wife Billie of Stockton Springs, and Bill Swift Jr. of Prospect. Many nieces and nephews. A special Aunt Janice Moody, with whom she lived with at the end of her life. Jo lived in Arizona many years before moving back to Maine She loved crocheting, reading, playing games on her computer and time with family and friends. Per her request, there will not be any services held. Memories and condolences may be shared on this tribute wall.
