Obituary of Lloyd R. Bryant
Lloyd R. Bryant Sr., 77 of Belmont died peacefully on September 13, 2021. He was born June 8, 1944 to Austin and Geneva (Morse) Bryant. He was one of 11 children growing up in Belmont where he continued to live throughout the majority of his life. Lloyd was recently predeceased by the love of his life, Dorothy Bryant.
Lloyd served his country in the US Army. He was most known for his carpentry and craftsmanship with woodworking. He was a cabinetmaker and finish carpenter by profession, but a jack of all trades. He always took pride in his lawn and garden (especially after he got his Kubota). During his retirement years he enjoyed spending time on home projects, gardening and playing with the grandchildren whom he cherished above all things.
Dad was a man of few words, but always helped his family, friends and neighbors, never expecting anything in return. Dad passed on many characteristics to us all, love, respect, integrity, and heart. He brought true meaning to being an unselfish man. He will be forever missed.
He is survived by his children: Lloyd Jr and wife Dawn Bryant, Charles Bryant, Dwayne and wife Tracy Bryant, Deanna Bryant, and step sons James and wife Sirena Bennett, and Mark and wife Michelle Bennett. His siblings: Avis Hall, Virginia Whitney, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please take the time to let the love of your life know that you love them, let your family and friends know how much you love and appreciate them, enjoy life and laughter with friends.
Private services will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.
