We are regular summer residents at Colonial Gables. Pete was very good to us every year. He had a hedge of beach roses installed, he fed our bushes and flowers, he had cut flowers on our table for our arrival, planted peach trees and tended tomato plants, all he shared with staff and guests with humble pride. Pete loved the black lab and played every chance he could. We have missed Pete at Colonial Gables. We feel blessed to know him. We know he is at peace managing heaven’s gardens.
