Our beautiful Mother has gone home to be with her maker and her beloved family that went before her.
She passed away at home surrounded by the love of her family and her fur baby.
Harriet was born February 17, 1938 in Appleton, Maine to James Calvin and Mildred (Wilson) Aldus. She grew up in Appleton and later moved to the Belfast area where she met Ralph Bernosky. They married in 1956 and had 6 children. later in life she met the love of her life Linwood Moon and relocated to Freedom.
Genealogy was her life passion. She researched her heritage and through this found so many family connections who became near and dear to her heart. She also had a passion for karaoke and dancing. She met many people who became dear friends.
Harriet was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ralph, her sons Russell and David and her great grandson Tobias. She was also predeceased by her mother in law Marion (Irving) Bernosky, her brothers, Herman, Edwin, David, James (Rita) Aldus, her sisters, Minnie, Mildred, Gladys Aldus, Margaret (Mac) Callahan, Helen Arnold and Edna (Pete) Moore and by the love of her life, Linwood Moon and his son Bob.
Harriet is survived by her children Belinda Gallant, Ralph Bernosky Jr, Sandra (Gerald) Whitcomb, and Debbie (David) Berry, her Grandchildren and their families, Brian Bernosky and children Ayven & Coleton, Howard Whitcomb, Jamie (Tammy) Whitcomb and family, Amy (Craig) Brown and family, Melissa (Ernesto) Perez and children Dominique and Eliana, Vicki (George) Barron and family, Brandi Gallant, Jeannie Goody and son Quincy, Jessica Melton and Trinity, Tamzyn, Tyler, David Berry 11, Tori Caron, and Eddie (Joanne) Blair.
Also survived by Linwood's family Shirley Moon and family, Linda Moon, Mary Hamlin and family, and Bob's children Rob, Deven and Frank and their families.
One sister Mabel Johnson, Sister in law Myrtle Aldus, brother in law Ray Arnold and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be Saturday March 6, 2021 at the Freedom Congregational Church, 45 Pleasant St. Freedom ME with visiting hour at 11am followed by a 12 noon service. Reception to follow downstairs.
