Obituary of Carolyn L. Shute

BROOKS Carolyn Lee Shute, 69, of Brooks, Maine went to her Lord on January 26, 2021 at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Carolyn was born in Belfast, Maine on January 27, 1951. She graduated from Mount View High School after which she worked as a bookkeeper at Mollison's. She was the Town of Brooks Tax Collector & Clerk for many years before making a change and going to work at Camden National Bank. Carolyn enjoyed riding horses, making personalized cards for friends & family and spending time with her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her mother, Emogene Crosby; her father, Durwood Crosby and her husband, Elbert Shute. Carolyn is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tiffany & her husband, Charles; her three grandchildren, Benjamin Elbert, Drew Alexandra and Danielle Acadia; and her extended family. A private burial will take place in the Wentworth Cemetery in Brooks, Maine at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared at ripostafh.com.
