Obituary of David L. Keniston

David L. Keniston, 83 of Swanville, went to be with his Lord on November 7, 2020. David was born in Stockton Springs on March 11, 1937 to the late Jesse and Nellie (Hood) Keniston. He served in the United States Navy and spent his career as a truck driver, driving over one million miles passing through all 48 states of the continental US. David enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and horse races but his biggest joy was his grandchildren. David is predeceased by his parents, his wife Gloria, his son Edgar Alan Keniston and eight of his siblings. Surviving are his companion Joyce Tibbetts of Swanville, his children Barbara Goodwin of Winterport, Clyde Keniston of Orland, Denise Lindsay of Las Vegas, his daughter-in-law Kim, his siblings, Ivan Keniston and Rose Tibbetts both of Searsport and a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Harbor Hill for the wonderful care they provided to David. Services will be held in the spring. Memories and condolences may be shared on this site.
