Tom would call me to ask if I had a recipe for something he was thinking about cooking. . . his last ask was to know which was the best vegan butter. . . which I found extremely interesting, because I know he was not a vegan. He would tease me about the reason I didn't have enough energy was because I didn't eat enough meat. Then he would send me some comic strip about vegetarians, or some such thing.
I will truly miss our conversations. He was sad that he had lost his Emma and said Sassy was sitting there looking at him with sad eyes. He loved his dogs, his kids and his Sally, whom I did not know was named Sarah, until I read this obituary. You will always be Sally to me, Sally. I hope we can travel out there to share a visit, whenever the country gets a hold of this virus. We love you and are sending you loads of hugs and angels to get you through this loss.
