Sending our deepest sympathy to Eleanor and all the Wood family. Al will always be remembered as a down to earth, genuinely nice man-one who believed with all his heart in God, and his son Jesus Christ. His influence on my son's life can only be measured in eternity, when he hears God say: "Well done, good and faithful servant". I will miss his humor, and his great love of life. They truly do not make them any better than Al Wood. Kuulei and Rod Metta, Data and Cyrus

Al, :Woody", Wood was a true scientist. Al was 3 years ahead of me at Glassboro H. S. in NJ. During 1947 he studied Chemistry with Mr. "Buddy" Bayless. He was appointed Lab Assistant and he had a Lab at home in the backyard. He and I made black
gunpowder as our first of many experiments. Later we "accidently" dropped sodium in the water drain at Main St. and Clayton Rd.
It blew the steel cover into the street! Al decided to become a chemist. I decided to become a science teacher.
Those were the days. I am sure Al is now Chief Chemist in a Lab in a nearby galaxy.
God Bless Al Wm. Jay Schultz jaylou8280@gmail.com ph. 609-625-1490
