Rest in Peace Kory, you've earned a spot in heaven for your brave service to our country <3 though we wish you could still be here. From the short kid on the bus at Searsport to full grown badass veteran. You never even bragged about it which is what is amazing. You would have made an incredible father. Though you made more out of a decade than most of us do in a whole lifetime! ...To know that you will not get to be all that you could be in life and be able to have a family of your own and grow old and be there for more shenanigans and meet your soulmate, when you've given so much of your time working hard and caring about others, is truly heartbreaking. I want to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your entire family and friends <3 May the memory of his eyes and smile and his love be the light through your time on earth.
If sorrow could build a stairway, and tears could show the way, we would climb our way to heaven, to bring you home again.
