I always enjoyed working with Norm at the Sheriff's Office, be it doing transports, details, or working in the jail. He was a good man and will be sadly missed. My condolences to the family.

He was always making sure we didn't do wrong. Well he tried! Always checked my car Monica for booze. Always came to all our family get togethers and birthdays. Very special uncle

To our Father, Grandfather, and Husband; Memorial Days is for all of you that served our country to defend our freedoms. Your hat will stay on the porch for all of us to share. We miss you Dad!

I'll never forget how Gramp was always checking my car when I would visit. Always making sure I was registered and inspected with decent tires. I'll always be grateful for his patience and love teaching me to drive in his 5 speed VW. 1st gear was always a bear and he kept making me pull over ,stop and take off again . He made me practice over and over! And I dont think any guy I danced with appreciated him stepping up and tapping them on the shoulder asking if they new I was his granddaughter! He was in uniform of course, working the school dance! I always felt safe in the world knowing Norman Bowen was my grandfather...I will love and miss you forever Grampa
