Obituary of Everett Miles Gilmore

Everett Miles Gilmore Jr. 73 of Searsport, passed away Wednesday October 28, 2009 in Belfast. He was born on March 30, 1936 in Belfast, Maine the son of Everett and Erna (Plummer) Gilmore Sr. Everett was in the U.S. Navy for 20 retiring in 1977. His hobbies were operating a Hamm radio, his call sign was WA1KKB, he also enjoyed traveling and camping at the lake with his wife and the company of his dog Penny. He is predeceased by his parents and brother Rodney Glimore. Everett is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Florence Gilmore of Searsport ,his children; Brenda Gilmore and significant other Mark Enberg of Norwich, CT., Brian Everett Gilmore and wife Diane of Hooper, UT., Carol Gilmore Mace and husband Clifford of Stockton Springs; his siblings Ada Gordon and significant other Edward Gotham, Leonard Gilmore and wife Judy, Ruth Hamm and husband Lloyd, Kenneth Gilmore and wife Janice, Paul Gilmore and wife Catherine, Maxine Seekins, Sharon Lamb and significant other Bud McCutchin; grandchildren Daniel Burns, Meghan Burns and her signicant other Christopher Hall, Katelyn Gilmore, Colton Gilmore, Emily Gilmore, Kris Bowen, Kally Bowen; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends and family are invited to call from 2-4 pm Sunday November 1, 2009, with a funeral service to follow 10:00 am Monday November 2, 2009 at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, Me.
