Obituary of Jennifer J. Makrecky

JENNIFER J. (HARRISON) MAKRECKY, 59 of Belfast, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2012 at her home surrounded by family. Survived by her husband, Steve; one son, Steve Herbert and wife Kim of Woodenville, WA; sister Marietta Hildreth, brother Geoff Harrison and wife Laurel, sister Pam Harrison, all of Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dog, Ruby. Jennifer’s career as an obstetrical R.N. spanned 30 years of which most was spent in Richmond, British Columbia. She was a leader in her field and highly respected by all who worked with her. Retiring in 2007, she and Steve moved to Maine to pursue their shared love of nature, gardening and travel.
