Obituary of Angelo V Alpi

Angelo V. Alpi, 88 of Belfast, passed away on September 16, 2012 in Belfast. He was born on March 1, 1924 in New York City. Survived by wife, Alice, eight children; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a younger brother, Edward. A Maine resident since 1990 and a WWII veteran. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 20th at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 21st at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Court Street, Belfast, Maine. Interment to follow at 1 p.m. at Maine Veterans Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, Maine.
