Obituary of Diane R. Mylen

Diane Ruth (Larrabee) Mylen, 65, of Knox passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 30, 2013. She was born on February 6, 1948 in Albion the daughter of John and Marguerite (Russell) Larrabee. Diane worked as a CNA for many years at Thayer hospital, Harbor Hill, and Waldo County General Hospital. One of her greatest joys was caring for people . Diane enjoyed her shopping trips to Goodwill. Her time spent with her children and family was most special to her. Diane will also be remembered lovingly by her family for her home making skills, and as a meticulous housekeeper. She is predeceased by her father, brother Perry and oldest sister Gloria. Diane is survived by her mother Marguerite Larrabee; loving husband of 35 years Linwood Mylen of Knox; her beloved children Corinna Salls and husband John of Etna, Evan Mylen and wife Angelece of Knox; her special granddaughter Macy Kay Salls; her siblings Dennis Larrabee and wife Cynthia of FL, Stephen Larrabee and wife Marjorie of Knox, Bruce Larrabee and wife Suzanne of Augusta, Robert Larrabee of Knox, Annette Seekins and her husband, Harry, of Belfast, and Wanda Larrabee of Woolwich; uncle Murray Larrabee of Knox, aunts Mavis Hanning of Connecticut and Ruby Clark of Florida, and several nieces nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast.
