Obituary of Jack D. Tebbenhoff
Jack D. Tebbenhoff, 85, passed away July 20, 2013, at his home in Blue Hill. He was born March 14, 1928, in Belleville, Ill., son of John and Meta (Leip) Tebbenhoff.
Jack graduated from Belleville High School and the University of Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 and worked many years as a civil servant for the U.S. Government. He owned and operated the Heritage Motor Inn in Blue Hill from 1979 to 1986 and then worked for Eastern Maine Development Corporation in Bangor.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Alleen; and his brother, Harold. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret; daughter, Trudy Bell of Blue Hill; sons, Bill Tebbenhoff of Richmond, Va., and Jim Tebbenhoff of Ashburn, Va.; and nine grandchildren. Jack was loved by all and is already greatly missed.
