Obituary of Norman Gilmore

Norman W. Gilmore Jr., 68 of Aurora, formerly of Belfast, passed away on December 28, 2013 in Hampden. He was born on August 13, 1945 in Belfast, the son of Norman W. Gilmore Sr. and Marion (Dunbar) Gilmore. Norman worked for many years at Penobscot Frozen Foods in Belfast. Some of his favorite pastimes were spending time with his family and wood working. He is predeceased by his parents; one brother and one sister and his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Gilmore. Norman is survived by his partner, Donna Palmer of Aurora; his children, Norman Gilmore III and partner Marilyn of Brooks, Brian Gilmore and partner Jennifer of Hartland, Janice Toothaker and husband Kevin of Newburg, Donna Gilmore and partner Rob of Hampden; step-children Annemarie Wiley, Corenia Austin and husband Brian, Donovan Hudson, Robert Palmer and wife Bev; one brother George Gilmore; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special friends Robert and Priscilla Bouchard. Graveside services will be announced in the spring.
