Obituary of James D. Harding

James D. Harding, 69, of Belfast passed away at a local hospital facility Saturday March 29. He was born Nov. 15, 1944 in Paris, Tenn., a son of the late Everett and Mary (Harper) Harding. James was a veteran serving his country in the U.S.Marine Corps. He served until 1975. He enjoyed yard work, wooden cars, carpentry, watching CNN, collecting tools and collecting M&M characters. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his shed, listening to Elvis, and old time gospel songs. James was predeceased by two brothers William and Jerry. He leaves behind his wife Irene Harding of Belfast; his children Melissa Harding of Belfast, James Harding Jr. of North Carolina, and Joseph Harding and his wife Tracy of Belfast; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson; as well as his sister Harriet Ardala Yates of Louisiana.
