Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Metcalf

Northport Elizabeth Marie Metcalf, 93, of Northport passed away on June 22, 2015. She was born in Sharon, Massachusetts to the Late Leroy and Julia Ferguson. Elizabeth loved many things! She loved to cook, almost anything and she was great at it. She loved working on the farm and with the cows. Elizabeth also liked to sew, and was very fond of attending church and being in the choir. Along with raising her own children, Elizabeth also raised 5 foster children. Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years Robert Edward Metcalf Sr., and all of her siblings. She is survived by children; Robert Metcalf Jr. of Northport, Jo Cole of North Carolina, Joy Metcalf of Northport, Sherrie Pierce of Northport, Toni-Marie Mahoney (Michael) of Quincy, MA. Cindy, Grace, Helen, Gail, and Laura; 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
