Obituary of Sally Jane Higgins

Sally Jane Higgins born July 7th 1959, a resident of Belmont, Maine went to be with her Lord unexpectedly on Nov. 22, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was the daughter of Milton and Patricia (Harding) Higgins born in Waterville, Maine. She was a member of the Morrill Baptist Church and a graduate of Belfast Area High School. Sally enjoyed spending time and staying in touch with her many dear friends and family. She was always ready to offer a listening ear and an encouraging word or take the opportunity to play a friendly game. Another favorite pastime of Sally's was crocheting and she shared the pot holders of her labor with many of her friends and family. She is greatly missed by her mother, Patricia Higgins, sisters, Susan (Keith) Thompson of Morrill, Sandra (Michael) Littlefield of Charlotte, Maine, Sharon (Carmen) Torrey of Dawsonville, Ga, Shirley (David) Diepenbrock of Goroka, PNG and Brother Milton (Wendy) Higgins of Belfast, her uncle Allen Higgins, aunt Ruby Hanson, uncle Nelson Harding, aunt Marilyn Levesque, aunt Priscilla (Kenneth) Gould, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited for a time of fellowship at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast on Saturday November 28, 2015 from 2-4:00pm.
