Obituary of Austin F. Wing

Austin Frederick Wing (January 7, 1938 - August 22, 2019) Austin is with his angel, Ramona, now. He passed away on August 22, 2019, with his loving family at his side. His strength was a result of God’s love; his love for God a result of his love for family. Austin was a strong and hard-working man. He had such a consistent adoration for his wife of over 50 years, Ramona, as well as his 5 children, Ken, Lisa, Latisha, Kevin and Karmen. He loved God, his family, and his friends. He was funny, kind, devoted, and a man of faith. He made time to make special memories with his family; memories all of us hold dear. Austin had such devoted lifelong friends. It has been comforting to hear the entertaining stories of their escapades over the years. Austin loved to make people laugh and was known for his ability to make people laugh easily. He had a talent for being able to tell jokes for hours on end, knowing his humor brought light to those around him. Austin was born on January 7, 1938, and raised in Belfast, Maine. He worked for many years as a construction worker, learning from and teaching those around him. His work can be seen all over the state of Maine. Austin is survived by four of his children, Ken, Lisa (Sue Thoms), Latisha, and Kevin (Jennifer Wing), 6 grandchildren, Karmen, Tabitha, Dakota, Sabrina, Kaleb, and Alexandria, and 2 great-grandchildren, Eli and Madylynn. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ramona and son Karmen.
