Obituary of Shirley E. Boyle

BELMONT SHIRLEY E. BOYLE, 68 of Belmont, passed away March 13, 2019 in Belfast. She was born in Camden, Maine on March 25, 1950 to Hillard and Betty (Rolfe) Dunbar. She was a 1968 graduate of Belfast Area High School. Shirley worked for over 30 years at Penobscot/McCrum retiring in 2012. For the last few months she lived with her son, David and fiancee Lisa, where she enjoyed playing with his cat "Simon" and his dog "Abby". She loved to read and watch movies in her spare time. She was predeceased by both parents and is survived by her sons, David "Rambo" Boyle and fiancee Lisa Lauterbach of Belmont, Jason "Jake" Boyle of Belfast and Carl "Joe" Boyle of Prospect; Her grandchildren Brianna Boyle of Bangor and David Boyle of Northport; and Lisa's children who Shirley thought of as her own grandchildren, Caitlin and Ian Hathaway; her best friend Patricia Fuller of Belfast and Richard Pomeroy II of Texas who was like a son to her.
