Obituary of Mary Jane Glidden

Mary Glidden of Searsmont, ME passed away January 1, 2019. The daughter of James E. Cooper and Ruth E. (Jewett) Cooper. Mary graduated in 1965 from Mount View High School. She was a rural route mail carrier for 35 years covering parts of Waldo County. She also volunteered as a Brownie Troop Leader for a number of years. Mary was predeceased by her parents James and Ruth, a brother Joseph Cooper, a sister Joanne Cooper, and a grandson Tyson Glidden. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Carroll H Glidden, her daughters, Tina Hollis of Norfolk, VA, Loretta Glidden of Fairfield, ME, Joanna Glidden of Searsport, ME, and her son, James Glidden, and his fiance, Heather Rodrigue, of South China, ME, her sister, Carolyn E. Boivin, of Morrill, ME, 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
