Obituary of Jean Rosaleen Glover

Jean Rosaleen (York) Glover of Belfast, passed away peacefully at the age of 91, at Waldo County General Hospital on Monday, December 31, 2018. She will be fondly remembered for her feisty spirit, sense of humor, and the big Sunday dinners she enjoyed preparing for anyone who wanted to join. Jean was very much about family and was happiest when she was surrounded by them. She also was an avid sports fan and for many years was a fixture on the sidelines of games at Belfast Area High School along with her late husband and sister. Jean was predeceased by her husband Carl A. Glover, mother Gertrude Ginn, father Ward York; Sisters Norma Eynon, Janice Littlefield, and Florence Bryant all of Belfast, and brothers Leland York of Bath, Maynard York of Orland, Keith York of Warren and Clyde York of Belfast. She is survived by son David Glover and his wife Leslie of Waldoboro, daughter Linda Paul and husband Wayne of Frankfort; her beloved grandchildren Craig Glover of Waldoboro, Rebecca Grover of Waldoboro, Tonya Wood of Belfast, Nicole Paul of Hope and seven great grandchildren; brother in law Richard Bryant of Belfast, many nieces and nephews. There will be a burial at Paul Cemetery in Waldo at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home Belfast, Me.
