Obituary of Douglas Jackie Kindell

Douglas Jackie Kindell, 72, died on December 18, 2018 peacefully at home with his wife by his side. Jack was born October 28, 1946, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1964 to 1968, then worked in the Mid-Coast area before rejoining in 1973. He served in Maine, Puerto Rico, the Mid-West, New York and then back in Maine where he retired. He stayed in the Mid-Coast area and started driving truck and delivering marine supplies up and down the east coast. He was predeceased by is parents Jack and Marion Kindell and his first wife Norma Collamore. He is survived by is wife, Karen Marshall Kindell, a brother David, his wife Debra and their two sons, Paul and wife Kim and Michael; his three daughters, Bridget Green and her husband Bob, Kyna Kindell and Heather Leeman and her husband Chris; his two stepsons, Devin Deabler and his wife Tracy and Michael Deabler; grandchildren, Kevin, Amanda and Jennifer Green and Timothy and Norma Leeman and step grandchildren Autumn, Kloey and Melody Deabler and two great grandchildren Marlow and Rowan Green. In keeping with the wishes of Jack, there will be no memorial services. Jack’s final resting place will be Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK.
